The beta is quite buggy and is still lacking features of the v2 version,
so be warned.

Potentially on Movjave systems (you should be alright on Catalina) you
may have to run the command
xattr -cr /Applications/ElectronPlayer.app after putting
the
app in the Applications folder, to be able to run the app locally on
your
computer.
